✨🌿 God Has Been With You—And He Is Still Writing Your Story

✨🌿 God Has Been With You—And He Is Still Writing Your Story

1 Chronicles 17:8 (NLT)
“I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have destroyed all your enemies before you. Now I will make your name as famous as anyone who has ever lived.”

This verse is a powerful reminder of how God works over time—quietly, faithfully, and thoroughly. The Lord speaks these words in the context of David’s life, but the truth behind them points to God’s consistent character: He goes with His people, He protects, and He establishes what He has ordained.

Notice the order in the verse:

  • Presence: “I have been with you wherever you have gone.”
God’s presence is not limited to a building, a season, or a moment when life feels calm. He is with you in transition, in uncertainty, and in growth.

  • Protection: “I have destroyed all your enemies before you.”
God is able to remove obstacles and opposition in ways you cannot always see immediately. His protection may look like deliverance, redirection, wisdom, or restraint—but it is still His hand at work.

  • Establishment: “Now I will make your name…”
When God establishes you, it is not about ego. It is about purpose, stewardship, influence, and the assignment He has placed on your life. God is able to build a legacy that reflects His glory.

If you are in a season where you need encouragement, direction, or reassurance that God has not left you—let this scripture anchor you: the Lord has been with you, and He is still guiding your steps.

🛑📌 When Wicked Plans Are Formed, God Still Reigns

🛑📌 When Wicked Plans Are Formed, God Still Reigns

Nahum 1:11 (ESV)
“From you came one who plotted evil against the LORD, one who counseled villainy.”

There is a sobering truth in this verse: evil does not only appear in actions—it often begins in planning, in counsel, in quiet agreements that oppose God’s will. Nahum speaks to Nineveh, a powerful city known for violence and oppression, and God makes it plain that He is not unaware of what has been devised.

This is a reminder for today: God sees what is hidden. He knows what is being whispered, what is being coordinated, and what is being set into motion behind the scenes. When people attempt to plot against what is right, or when wicked counsel is offered as “strategy,” the Lord is still on the throne.

This verse also calls for personal reflection. It is wise to ask:

  • Am I seeking counsel that honors God, or counsel that excuses what God has already made clear?

  • Have I allowed anger, fear, pride, or ambition to shape plans that are not aligned with the Lord?

  • Am I praying with discernment over decisions, relationships, and direction?

God does not ask His people to live suspicious or anxious—but He does call us to live awake, prayerful, and anchored in truth. When we stay close to Him, He strengthens our discernment and keeps us from being drawn into ungodly motives or influences.

🍇 Fruitful Knowledge of Christ – 2 Peter 1:8 ✨

🍇 Fruitful Knowledge of Christ – 2 Peter 1:8

“For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 1:8

In the verses before this, Peter lists qualities such as faith, virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. Here, he reminds us that when these things are in us and increasing, our knowledge of Jesus does not remain theoretical or dry—it becomes fruitful, visible in the way we live and relate to others.

This verse invites us to examine not only what we know about the Lord, but what that knowledge is producing. Is it shaping our character, our decisions, and our responses? As we cooperate with the Holy Spirit, these qualities grow and keep us from being barren or unfruitful in our walk with Christ.
